Very little is needed to make a happy life; it is all within yourself, in your way of thinking. I’ve learned that asking questions isn’t a sign of weakness; rather, it demonstrates curiosity, engagement and intelligence."

10 Jobs That Didn’t Exist 15 Years Ago But Are In High Demand Today

A phrase, we’ve all heard a few hundred times, growing up. And every time a relative or a teacher asked me the same, I would talk about all sorts of fantasies. Sometimes I’d say a doctor, sometimes, I’d listen to my heart, and say a writer and sometimes even a horticulturist (Even though I barely understood what that meant, back then). And there I was, at age 17, living in a time when blogging was a rage. And here I am, age 26, making a living off an occupation that didn’t even exist 15 years ago. But, it’s far from being the only one. The list below also features 9 others.

1. Blogger

No surprises for guessing how yours truly chose to kickstart the list. Bloggers and content writers are everywhere and many of them earn very well. Some are self-employed and some work for agencies and media houses. Either way, a blogger gets to channel out their inner creativity in a brilliant way and to a potential audience of millions. Or maybe, I’m just saying all this because my bosses are reading. Just kidding. Or Am I?

8 Freakouts It's Totally OK to Have in Your Early 20s

In theory, our early 20s should be full of endless possibilities. We've escaped our parents' watchful eyes (or are working toward it!); we're earning an income or a degree; and we have more freedom, independence, and—let's be real—fun than ever before.
But in reality, the years from age 20 to age 25 or so consist of a whole lot of confusion, panic, and pretending to have it all figured out. We worry over and question decisions, both large and small—about jobs, dating, friends, apartments, the list goes on. The bright side? You're far from alone. Keep calm, carry on, and know these eight seemingly major worries are totally normal.

1. “What the hell am I doing with my life?”

Here I am, living on my own, earning an income, and making choices about my future—but do I feel like an "adult"? Hardly! For the first time in my life, the next step isn't clear, which is both amazing and terrifying. Where do I want to live? What do I really want to do? Who do I want to be—and who do I want to be with? Although no one’s asking you to figure out the answers to these questions all at once, it definitely feels that way sometimes.

F1 Driver Zanardi Lost His Legs In Car Crash 15 Years Ago. Now, He’s A Paralympic Champion

Former Formula One driver Alex Zanardi won his third Paralympic gold medal on Wednesday, a day before the 15th anniversary of the Champ Car crash that cost the Italian both legs and nearly his life.

The 49-year-old won the 20km H5 hand-cycling road time trial in Rio de Janeiro to add to the two golds he won on his Paralympics debut in London four years ago.
"Normally I don't thank God for these type of things as I believe God has more important stuff to worry about," he told NBC television. "But today is too much. I had to raise my eyes and thank him.

"I feel very lucky, I feel my life is a never-ending privilege."
Zanardi, a two times champion in the U.S.-based Champ Car series that is now IndyCar, competed in 41 grands prix between 1991 and 1999 with his final season at Williams.
He had both legs amputated above the knee, with his heart stopping seven times as he lost all but a litre of the blood in his body, after the horrific crash at the Lausitzring in Germany on Sept. 15, 2001.
The Italian was leading the race when he lost control of his Reynard-Honda in the final laps and Canadian Alex Tagliani ran into him at more than 350kph.

"The car broke into two pieces, one bit of me stayed with the car and the other bit, which was my legs, went 'arrivederci' in the other direction," he said before competing at the London 2012 Games.

Chetan Bhagat & Shobhaa De Show Us How Best-Selling Authors Can Be Literary Fools

It’s been a weekend of horrors in the world of literature and books in India. Championed by no less than Chetan Bhagat and Shobhaa De. India’s do anmol ratan.
First to Chetan Bhagat, who on Friday, released the video trailer of his new book. Yes, nowadays we need to sell books by making videos of them. It’s all so cool, it just blows my mind. Now Bhagat, who keeps telling us he is “India's biggest selling English language novelist”, has been threatening to unleash his new book for a while now. Thanks to his warning, the shock factor has been lower than otherwise.
That Bhagat is no literary great, is known. And neither has he ever claimed to be. What he is, is highly popular. To prove this point, his new book called One Indian Girl, broke all pre-order records on Amazon, beating out even Harry Potter’s Cursed Child’s record – that too within two hours of orders going live on the site. No mean feat.

The author has been promoting his new book for some time now

Now to the book. Bhagat has been tweeting about how this is revolutionary stuff for him, because he’s written in first person as a woman. Which isn’t to be scoffed at. Before Bhagat, Virginia Woolf had written a beautiful biography calledFlush as Elizabeth Barrett Browning’s cocker spaniel. Who knows, maybe One Indian Girl would break similar ground.
