Netherlands-based photographer Valerio Vincenzo created a project called ‘Borderline, the Frontiers of Peace’, a series that explores changes that have occurred during the last decade in Europe regarding global conflicts and the signing of the Schengen Agreement. The agreement states that the borders between European countries need to be erased and peaceful borderlines need to be established.
The photographer travelled along these borderlines, clicked them and showcased ‘the essence of not borders but peaceful crossings’. Here are what peaceful crossings around Europe look like…
